Just to dispel all of the current rumors. The reason we decided to shut down the hotel is simply that we could not find enough honest and reliable individuals to run it. There was no person or persons that had the kind of power to shut us down if we had chosen to continue. Sometimes it is simply deciding that we just didn't have the desire to be there anymore, nothing else.

Just letting everyone know that we have officially shut down the 1876 inn, bar, and grill. Thank you to all of those who have tried to help us during this venture. We have had some good times and bad times. We have also meet some amazing people along the way. We wish you all the best in the future. We have the hotel up for sale or lease.

Razorback game will be on @8 and The Blacklisted will start playing @9!!! Come call those hogs and listen to some great music! Bucket and jello shot specials!

Hello everyone, I normally do not write posts like this so please understand. We have had a few shady people wanting to harm our business so let me put the record straight. WE run a straight up business. No gangs, drugs or any of the other absolutely ridiculous things that I have heard. Yes we walked into this with all the best intentions of course but it seems that a select few are spending far more time trying to run our business down than pay attention to whatever is in their own world. As we all know people must own their own actions and if we make a mistake we own it. The previous people who some refer to is not our cross to bear we have done nothing but try to help people in this community with most times hurting ourselves. It is time for it to stop, we will no longer be taken advantage of or be disrupted, disrespected. Thank you for those who realize what we have and are trying to do to make this a much better place to be and for your kind words when we are down.
